WooCommerce Odoo Integration
WooCommerce โ Odoo catalog + orders.
WooCommerce gives you a WordPress storefront with full control over the front end, while Odoo carries stock, purchasing and accounts. The connector uses the WooCommerce REST API with a key pair, pushing catalogue and stock out and pulling orders and customers in. The detail that decides quality is variable products: Woo variations must line up with Odoo variants on SKU, or the two catalogues drift apart within weeks.
What syncs between WooCommerce and Odoo
- โ Products and variations: Odoo to WooCommerce, one-way, including price, description, images and variant attributes.
- โ Stock quantities: Odoo to WooCommerce, one-way, from the warehouse that serves the store.
- โ Orders: WooCommerce to Odoo, one-way, as sale orders with lines, shipping, discounts and payment state.
- โ Customers: WooCommerce to Odoo, one-way, matched on email with billing and shipping addresses.
- โ Order status and tracking: Odoo to WooCommerce, one-way, when the delivery is validated.
- โ Refunds: WooCommerce to Odoo, one-way, creating the matching credit note.
How we implement it
- 1 API credentials
Generate a read/write key pair on the WooCommerce side and confirm the site is served over HTTPS with permalinks that expose the REST route.
- 2 Catalogue alignment
Reconcile SKUs between the two systems before the first sync. Fixing duplicates afterwards is far more expensive.
- 3 Variant mapping
Map Woo attributes and variations to Odoo attributes and variants, one to one, so options do not multiply.
- 4 Tax and shipping lines
Map the order tax and shipping lines onto the taxes and delivery products already configured in Odoo.
- 5 Sync scheduling
Webhooks for orders, scheduled jobs for catalogue and stock, plus a nightly reconciliation to close gaps.
- 6 Cutover
Import open orders, switch the store to the live connector, and monitor the error queue through the first busy day.

WooCommerce and Odoo: common questions
Does it work with a custom WooCommerce theme?
Yes. The connector talks to the REST API, not the theme. Front-end customization has no effect on the sync, which is one reason merchants keep WooCommerce for design freedom.
What about plugins that add order fields?
Extra fields exposed through the API can be mapped into Odoo. Fields stored only in a plugin table need a small extension on the WordPress side before they can be read.
Can Odoo push prices to the store?
Yes. A price list in Odoo can drive store prices, including sale prices with start and end dates, so promotions are managed in one place.
How are stock conflicts handled?
Odoo is the source of truth and overwrites the store quantity. Overselling during a spike is managed with a buffer quantity and a shorter sync interval on fast-moving lines.
Other ecommerce integrations
Need a connector that is not on the list?
Custom REST, GraphQL, webhook, EDI and flat-file integrations, built with retry, idempotency and audit logging so a failed message is visible instead of lost.
