Let people book time with you from your website, and have it land in Odoo as a real calendar meeting. Odoo Community has no appointment scheduling at all, so booking usually happens by email, by phone, or through a separate service that never quite syncs back.
Appointment types
- โ Duration, and a buffer before and after so nothing is booked back to back
- โ A notice period, so nobody books you for ten minutes from now
- โ A booking window, so nobody books you eighteen months out
- โ Weekly availability, set as ranges per weekday
- โ Published or unpublished, each with its own web address
Who the booking is with
- โ Staff, taken from your Odoo users
- โ Or resources: rooms, chairs, bays, tables, each with a capacity
- โ Let the visitor choose, assign at random, or require everyone to be free
Slots that are actually free
- โ Availability is worked out against the real calendar, so a slot disappears the moment the meeting that would clash is created
- โ Existing bookings, buffers and the notice period are all taken into account
- โ Everything is computed in the appointment's own timezone and shown to the visitor in theirs, so a booking made from another country lands correctly
After the booking
- โ A calendar meeting with the customer as an attendee
- โ A confirmation email, and a reminder before the appointment
- โ The customer can cancel or reschedule from a link in the email, within the limits you set
- โ Questions you set per appointment type, answered at booking time and kept on the record
- โ Requires nothing but the Website and Calendar apps.
