Odoo payment gateways in France

Every payment method and gateway that matters in France, with what each one takes to reach Odoo: shipped with the product, a community module, a paid connector, or a build.

Every payment rail we check for a rollout in France

19 entries, grouped by what each one costs you to reach from Odoo. The badge is the whole commercial question: shipped with the product, a community module, a paid connector, or a build.

Ships with Odoo. Configuration, not development.

Cartes Bancaires (CB) domestic card scheme
In Odoo

France runs its own card network, and Stripe states that more than 95% of CB cards are co-badged with Visa or Mastercard. EEA rules make you offer the shopper a network choice at checkout, so a French Odoo store has to show CB as its own brand rather than hiding it behind a generic card button.

Worldline local gateway
In Odoo

Odoo's own module summary calls Worldline a French payment provider covering several European countries. Its Odoo 19 mapping reaches Cartes Bancaires, Cofidis, FLOA Bank, Klarna and PayPal from one French acquiring contract.

Stripe global gateway
In Odoo

Stripe does accept French businesses, and FR sits in the supported country list inside Odoo 19's Stripe module. From a French Stripe account you can switch on Cartes Bancaires, SEPA debit, Alma, Klarna and PayPal without leaving the native provider.

PayPal global wallet
In Odoo

Still a standard second button next to CB on French checkouts, particularly for cross border baskets. Odoo 19 ships the PayPal provider and it settles in EUR.

Mollie regional gateway
In Odoo

Dutch PSP with a French storefront that sells Cartes Bancaires, virement SEPA, PayPal and iDEAL with Wero to French merchants, and says it serves more than 250,000 businesses. It is a common pick for smaller French sellers who find bank acquiring paperwork heavy.

Adyen global gateway
In Odoo

The usual choice once a French retailer runs stores and a website on one acquiring contract. Its Odoo 19 mapping includes SEPA direct debit and Apple Pay.

SEPA Direct Debit (prelevement SEPA) bank direct debit
In Odoo

How French businesses collect subscriptions and instalments in euro. Odoo 19 ships it with a mandate flow, but invoices must be in euro, the payment journal needs a valid IBAN and you must hold a creditor identifier.

Virement bancaire (SEPA credit transfer) bank transfer
In Odoo

French B2B buyers routinely settle an invoice by virement rather than by card. Odoo 19's Wire Transfer provider prints your IBAN and a payment reference at checkout and holds the order unpaid until you reconcile the incoming transfer.

Apple Pay and Google Pay mobile wallet
In Odoo

In France these wallets ride on the shopper's CB card, so they inherit CB acceptance rather than replacing it. Odoo 19's Stripe provider ships express checkout, which Odoo's own field help describes as paying with Google Pay and Apple Pay.

Alma BNPL
In Odoo

French pay in instalments provider, and Stripe lists it as EUR only with both the business and the customer in France. Odoo 19 ships an Alma payment method record that is restricted to France in the data file.

Klarna BNPL
In Odoo

Stripe lists France among the business locations that can accept Klarna, and Odoo's native Worldline module maps Klarna to Worldline code 3301. It shows up on French fashion and homeware baskets where Alma competes for the same slot.

FLOA BNPL
In Odoo

French instalment lender behind many 3x and 4x card offers. Odoo 19's Worldline module maps floa_bank to Worldline code 5139, so a French Worldline contract reaches it with no extra module.

Cofidis BNPL
In Odoo

Another French consumer credit name that appears at checkout as a split payment option. Odoo 19's Worldline module maps cofidis to code 5129 and treats it as a redirect method.

Paid connector

4 of 19

A paid connector covers this. Licence cost sits outside our fee and is quoted separately.

Wero instant bank transfer
Paid connector

The bank backed European wallet, live in France, Belgium and Germany, and now usable for paying online as well as sending money. Most French banks put it inside their own app, so there is no separate wallet for the shopper to install.

PayPlug local gateway
Paid connector

French PSP owned by Groupe BPCE, which says it has a privileged connection to the Cartes Bancaires scheme and processed EUR 10.9 billion in 2025 for more than 18,000 merchants. Common with French SMB retailers who already bank with BPCE.

HiPay local gateway
Paid connector

French gateway whose Odoo 19 connector carries the widest French method list on the store: CB, Alma, Oney, Wero, SEPA Direct Debit, Klarna, Illicado and Carte Cadeau. Worth naming when a French client already has a HiPay contract.

Oney BNPL
Paid connector

French lender behind a large share of the 3x and 4x offers French shoppers see at checkout. No dedicated Odoo module exists, so it arrives through the paid HiPay connector and a HiPay contract becomes a required dependency.

Custom build

2 of 19

No connector we would put in production. This is scoped, priced and built.

Lyra local gateway
Custom build

French PSP for online and point of sale payments that hosts merchant and cardholder data on servers in France, which matters to French buyers with data residency clauses. Its platform sits behind a number of French bank branded checkout products.

Monext (Payline) local gateway
Custom build

French payment services provider handling Carte Bancaire, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and PayPal for French merchants, plus card issuing. Widely used in French travel, events and retail.

Checked Localization notes on this page checked on 22 August 2026.

Rates, formats, thresholds and submission windows change. We configure against the rules in force at build time and confirm every figure with your accountant or tax advisor before sign-off. If a rule moves after go-live, it is a support ticket, not a rebuild. Read more on our Odoo localization service.

How we build payments for France

The delivery method behind the list above. The same four steps on a 10-user rollout and on a multi-company programme, with the depth scaled to the scope.

  1. 1 Start from what buyers already carry. We pick the smallest set of providers that covers the methods your customers use, because every extra gateway is another reconciliation and another support surface.
  2. 2 Shipped providers first. Anything Odoo already carries is configured before anyone buys a connector. Paid connectors and custom work are priced up front, not discovered mid-project.
  3. 3 Four tests per provider. Authorization, capture, refund and a deliberate failure, run in sandbox, then repeated once in production with a small live amount.
  4. 4 Settlement is mapped to the ledger. Payouts, fees and chargebacks post to accounts your accountant agreed, so the bank reconciliation clears instead of leaving a suspense balance.

What we need from you to quote it

Bring these to the first call and you get a scoped, priced payments plan for France instead of a range.

  • โœ“ Your current gateway contracts and the fee schedule on each.
  • โœ“ A month of settlement reports, so the ledger mapping can be tested against real payouts.
  • โœ“ The currencies you collect in, and the entity that receives each payout.

Scope payments for your France rollout.

Send us the list above with your answers against it. We come back with what is configuration, what is a connector, and what is a build, priced before the project starts.
